Dalsland – Nordmarken lake system, DANO, is responsible for overseeing canoe tourism and its campsites in the Dalsland Canal and surrounding waters. Our nature hosts provide information to visitors, handle cleaning, supervision, and maintenance work of the campsites, including fire pits, toilets, and wind shelters. The supervision also includes ensuring that firewood is available at the campsites. You will spend a lot of time on the water in one of our workboats, which means you will have to endure both brilliant sunshine and pouring rain.

We are now looking for staff for the 2026 season. The work period extends from May 1st to September, but employment can occur for the whole or part of the period. Work shifts vary, and the job takes place both during the day and in the evening.

We are looking for someone with an interest in nature, high social competence, and the ability to express themselves in English or German in addition to Swedish. You must be a competent swimmer and preferably hold at least a B driver's license. Before potential employment, you may need to take a CPR test and prove your swimming ability.
